Red Blood-Drip Lighting Appears on Mel’s Die-In Tower at Halloween Horror Nights

A video posted October 19 shows the restaurant’s rooftop tower running a descending red-light animation.

Red blood-drip lighting is running down the rooftop tower at Mel’s Die-In during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida.

A video posted October 19 shows bands of red light descending from the top of the tower, giving the restaurant’s signature sign a dripping-blood effect after dark.

Universal Orlando’s official Halloween Horror Nights lore describes Mel’s Die-In as the home of zombie carhops. The new tower animation carries that horror makeover above the restaurant’s neon-lit exterior.
