Disney+ Japan has released the first teaser for Night Tales Club, a Japanese supernatural anthology coming exclusively to Disney+ in Japan in January 2027.
The 22-second video centers on Takayuki Yamada as Hojo, a mysterious storyteller who offers 20 million yen in gold for documented supernatural phenomena. The anthology brings together six strange accounts.
The series adapts a collection by Ichi Sawamura. Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Takashi Shimizu and Shinzo Katayama are among its six directors.
Disney has not announced an exact January date or release plans outside Japan.
