John Padgett says Spaxial is being built to give frontline employees more context about the guest standing in front of them.

In an October 20 interview with Forbes contributor Caroline Reid, Padgett described a platform that combines guest identity, precise location and AI models. He said the goal is to help employees tailor service in theme parks, cruise lines, resorts and other busy venues.

The platform is designed to sit on top of an operator’s existing systems. It would bring together information that may otherwise live in separate reservation, guest-app, staff-app, customer-data and payment tools, then give employees a cue about what action may be useful.

Spaxial targets theme parks, cruise lines, casino resorts, sports venues, destination resorts, and retail, dining and entertainment businesses.

Padgett is Spaxial’s founder and CEO. His earlier work includes Disney’s MagicBand, FastPass+ and Magical Express, followed by the Ocean Medallion system for Princess Cruises.

The interview does not name a customer or announce a Disney partnership or park rollout. Spaxial also has not provided independent performance results for the platform.
