Lea Michele is in talks to reprise Rachel Berry in the newly announced Glee revival for Disney+ and Hulu, according to multiple reports published Tuesday.
Variety first reported that Michele would return, citing multiple sources. The Hollywood Reporter described the deal as still in talks and said representatives for Disney and Ryan Murphy declined to comment. Disney has not announced the casting.
Michele played Rachel throughout the original show's six-season run. She is the first former cast member publicly linked to the revival since Disney+ and Hulu announced the series' return earlier Tuesday.
The revival announcement did not include a cast list, premiere date or production schedule.
