Disney On Ice producer Feld Entertainment and U.S. Figure Skating have formed a partnership that adds career webinars, a member ticket offer and Learn to Skate USA outreach at select performances.
Feld will hold two webinars each year for collegiate and high school members. The sessions will focus on professional skating careers, transitions after competitive skating and work in live entertainment.
U.S. Figure Skating members will also receive an exclusive discount offer for Disney On Ice tickets. The announcement does not specify the discount amount, booking dates or a promotional code.
Representatives from U.S. Figure Skating will attend select Disney On Ice performances to share information about Learn to Skate USA programs.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between Disney On Ice casting leaders and the figure skating community. It does not guarantee employment or create a new permanent position for participating skaters.
