Marvel has revealed two new variant covers for X-Men ’92: Incursions #1, with alternate artwork by Steve E. Gordon and Gurihiru.
The Jan. 6 one-shot sends the X-Men from the 1990s animated series into a clash with the younger team from X-Men: Evolution. Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle wrote the issue, with interior art by Salva Espin.
Gordon worked as a character designer and director on X-Men: Evolution. His cover brings that series’ young mutants together in a group portrait, while Gurihiru’s variant uses a split-screen composition that places the two animated teams on opposite sides.
Both covers appear in Marvel’s official preview for the issue.
