Aaron Guzikowski has reportedly been tapped to write a new Alien feature for 20th Century Studios.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss are producing the project through Scott Free. Scott is not attached to direct at this stage, and no director has been named.
Guzikowski wrote Prisoners, the 2013 thriller directed by Denis Villeneuve. The new Alien project is still in early development, with no title, cast or release date announced.
