New ESPN/Mickey & Friends hospital gowns and pants debuted at Connecticut Children’s during a Halloween celebration Thursday.
The hospital teamed with Starlight Children’s Foundation, ESPN and The Walt Disney Company for the Oct. 22 event. About 100 inpatient and outpatient children took part in costumes, activities and a visit from Mickey Mouse.
Mickey also visited patient rooms for children who could not attend the gathering in the hospital’s family resource center.
