Pixar has released a new video showing animation glitches warping scenes from Soul and Toy Story 3.
The reel opens with “the image we wanted,” then cuts to “the image the computer gave us.” One Soul example leaves a stretched character standing among a crowd of floating eyeballs.
The Toy Story 3 segment makes the same jump from a distorted character render to the finished Woody scene. Pixar’s caption also names Up, but the post does not explain what caused any of the glitches.
