Inde Navarrette has offered an early taste of Rogue’s Southern accent, giving Etalk a quick sample while stressing that she is still working on the voice.
During the carpet interview, Navarrette is asked to try the X-Men character’s signature Southern delivery. She gives “sugar” a brief spin, then says she has not done much practice yet.
The clip is a rehearsal-sized glimpse, not a finished version of her performance. Navarrette keeps it playful and makes no claim that the accent heard in the interview is the one audiences will hear in the movie.
