The Disney Wine & Dine 5K used timing tags in its race bibs for the first time Friday, and the official event guide set a 16-minute-per-mile pace for the EPCOT race.
Each bib included two tear tags. Participants handed over the top tag while picking up their race shirt at the expo. The bottom tag showed when their assigned start group opened and was collected at the start-group entrance on race morning.
The guide told runners to leave the timing tag attached to the back of the bib. It also warned that runners who fell behind the 16-minute pace could encounter course modifications.
The 5K took place Friday, Oct. 23, at EPCOT as part of the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
