Jenna Ortega said she nearly fell getting out of a wheelchair after spending her Iron Man 3 shoot sitting on one leg.
Ortega revisited the day in an Entertainment Weekly interview published October 25, seated beside director Taika Waititi. She remembered being thrilled to book one of the first projects she auditioned for, then staying in character throughout the shoot.
Her leg had gone numb by the time she stood up. Ortega said it felt like television static and she limped toward the car after nearly falling.
Waititi first guessed Captain America: The Winter Soldier when Ortega asked him to identify her Marvel debut. He recalled a few details before she supplied the answer: Iron Man 3.
