Storyliving by Disney has given $30,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina.
Disney announced the contribution Oct. 26. The money will support out-of-school programs focused on academic success, wellbeing and workforce development.
The contribution was presented during a celebration of the organization’s 30th anniversary and the Pittsboro Club’s fifth anniversary. Mickey Mouse also visited the event. Disney did not identify the date of the celebration.
The Pittsboro Club is near Asteria, the Storyliving by Disney community under development in Chatham County, North Carolina.
