Disney Cruise Line has added haptic vests to silent discos on every ship and introduced braille and tactile guidebooks that guests can request fleetwide and at both of its Bahamian island destinations.

The haptic vests turn music and sound effects into physical sensations. They are intended to give guests who are deaf or hard of hearing another way to experience the beat and rhythm of silent disco parties.

The guidebooks include tactile maps and venue information. Guests can request them at Guest Services on the ships, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Disney described both resources as recently introduced but did not provide a specific rollout date.
