A Shanghai Disneyland representative says Voyage to the Crystal Grotto’s fire-protection system activated by accident October 25, prompting an evacuation even though no fire occurred.

Shanghai Disneyland representatives separately told Beijing News and Nandu N Video that guests needed to leave the attraction after the system activated. Both reports carried the park’s statement that no injuries were reported and the ride had resumed operations that afternoon.

Smoke at the Fantasyland boat ride led to online reports of a possible fire. The park representative specifically said there had been no fire. Neither account established how long the attraction was closed, and the historical reopening statement does not establish its current operating status.

Two days before the evacuation, Disney Parks shared a full official video of Voyage to the Crystal Grotto. The same video is embedded below and provides a clear look at the attraction.
