Hong Kong Disneyland’s Jungle River Cruise skippers have new costumes inspired in part by Disney’s 2021 Jungle Cruise movie.
The park’s skippers marked Skipper Day on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in blue shirts, brown trousers and light-colored caps. Some wore neck scarves or suspenders. The look still reads as a crew ready to steer around the Rivers of Adventure, just with a few fresh details.

Hong Kong Disneyland managing director Tim Sypko shared the group photo and video, asking guests whether they noticed anything familiar about the costumes. “You might just notice a little inspiration from the Jungle Cruise movie,” he wrote.
Jungle River Cruise sends guests past elephants, hippos and other Audio-Animatronic wildlife while a live skipper narrates the trip. The attraction is in Adventureland at Hong Kong Disneyland.
