Kennedy takes over the role from Peter Rice, who will remain an executive producer. Ben Winston continues as executive producer and creative director, while Scott Givens is executive producer of production.

The Olympic Opening Ceremony is scheduled for July 14, 2028, followed by the Closing Ceremony on July 30. The Paralympic Opening Ceremony is set for Aug. 15, with the Closing Ceremony at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Aug. 27.
