Tokyo Disney Resort owner Oriental Land reported record first-half sales of ¥348.7 billion as attendance rose 6.9% to 13.1 million visits.

The company-wide sales total for the six months ending September 30 was up 10.3% from ¥316.2 billion a year earlier. Operating profit increased 15% to ¥78.5 billion, another first-half record.

Inside the theme park business, sales grew 11.7% to ¥281.4 billion and operating profit rose 22% to ¥60.8 billion. Attendance increased from 12.25 million to 13.10 million visits, a gain of about 851,000.

Guests also spent more. Net sales per guest reached a record ¥18,940, up 4.1% from ¥18,196 during the same period last year.

Oriental Land said the strong performance was helped by Tokyo DisneySea's 25th anniversary events. The park's Sparkling Jubilee celebration began April 15 and runs through March 31, 2027.
