Dancing With the Stars costume designers Steven Lee and Daniela Gschwendtner are putting Ariel in fringe instead of fabric for the show’s Disney on Broadway-themed episode Monday night.
The opening number uses music from The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Newsies and The Greatest Showman. Lee also previewed Val Chmerkovskiy as the Beast and Mark Ballas as Captain Hook.

The episode begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT and simulcasts live on ABC and Disney+ in local time zones. It streams the next day on Hulu and Hulu for Disney+.
