Disney’s new Dapper Dans profile traces three different routes into Magic Kingdom’s Main Street quartet.

Jonathan Meadows was visiting Walt Disney World as an Iowa college student when he heard about a Voices of Liberty audition. He printed sheet music, auditioned and began a Disney career that has now lasted nearly two decades.

Dirk Donahue grew up a few miles from Walt Disney World and imagined himself in a Disney costume as a child. More than 30 years later, he performs on Main Street, U.S.A.

Miami native Michael Rodriguez is a classically trained opera performer. He told Disney that he especially enjoys connecting with Spanish-speaking guests through music and conversation.

John Barnick rounds out the four Dapper Dans featured Monday. Disney shared his family story in a separate video earlier in the day.
