Walker Scobell, Leah Sava’ Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri surprised a Percy Jackson fan gathering at Lucca Comics & Games on Saturday, appearing before more than 8,000 people in Piazza San Michele.
Fans waved orange bandanas in a nod to Camp Half-Blood. The three actors later stepped onto the balcony of a historic building overlooking the square, where they greeted the crowd and posed for a photo with the packed piazza behind them.
Co-creator and executive producer Jonathan E. Steinberg and executive producer Dan Shotz joined the cast in Lucca. A day earlier, the group held a panel at Cinema Moderno with behind-the-scenes stories and clips from the show's third season.
