Walt Disney Imagineering President and Chief Creative Officer Bruce Vaughn has launched The Curious Mind with an essay about simulation theory, curiosity and the search for meaning.
Writing as B. Evan Vaughn, he opens “The Comfort of an Answer, the Power of a Question” by describing a life spent imagining places and experiences that do not yet exist. The essay moves from designed worlds and authentic emotion to religion, simulation theory, evolution and the tension between curiosity and certainty.
Vaughn closes by returning to the question “What if?” and argues that the willingness to keep looking may matter more than resolving every mystery. The personal essay does not announce a Disney project or state company policy.
