Disney+ released the official trailer for Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: The Getaway on Nov. 4, one month before the animated holiday comedy begins streaming.
The Heffleys make a last-minute escape to an all-inclusive island resort as the holidays approach. Greg is not thrilled about the family vacation, and the trip starts unraveling soon after they arrive.
Jacob Isaac Peterson voices Greg. Chris Diamantopoulos and Erica Cerra play Frank and Susan Heffley, while Fred Armisen voices the resort’s Director of Fun and Beau Bridges plays Captain Stubbard. Matt Danner directs from a script by series creator Jeff Kinney, who also produced the film.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: The Getaway streams exclusively on Disney+ beginning Friday, Dec. 4.
