United Parks & Resorts reported 6.5 million visits in the third quarter of 2026, down about 320,000 visits, or 4.7%, from the same period last year.

Revenue fell 1.1% to $506.5 million. Net income declined 10.5% to $80 million, while adjusted EBITDA fell 5.1% to $205.1 million.

Spending per guest increases

Total revenue per guest rose 3.8% to $78.29. Admission revenue per guest increased 3.4% to $40.90, and in-park spending rose 4.4% to a quarterly record of $37.39.

United Parks attributed the attendance decline primarily to unfavorable weather, calendar effects and fewer international visitors. A planned reduction in promotional admission products also contributed to the drop.

Company quantifies attendance headwinds

CEO Marc Swanson said weather, calendar and international visitation reduced attendance by about 325,000 visits. The company also linked more than 100,000 fewer visits to its planned reduction in promotional admissions.

For the first nine months of 2026, attendance fell 4.1% to 15.7 million visits and revenue declined 1.6% to $1.27 billion. In-park spending per guest rose 4.8% to $38.86.
