Universal Studios Hollywood has two First Aid stations: one beside French Street Bistro in the Upper Lot and one beside Studio Store in the Lower Lot. Both are marked with the First Aid symbol on the Studio Map. If someone needs help away from either station, tell the nearest Team Member instead of trying to cross the park first.

Nurses are on duty during regular park hours. Certified EMTs provide additional coverage throughout the park.

Where the two First Aid stations are

Upper Lot

Next to French Street Bistro.

Use the First Aid symbol on the Studio Map or ask a Team Member for the nearest route.

Lower Lot

Next to Studio Store.

Confirm the current walking route before taking the Starway or leaving the Lower Lot.

The Upper Lot and Lower Lot are separated by the Starway. If a person is dizzy, in pain or should not walk, do not make the station location the first problem to solve. Stop and ask a Team Member to route assistance.

What to do when someone needs help

  1. Tell the nearest Team Member. Give your location and a short description of what happened. Say immediately if the person should not walk.
  2. Stay put when moving would make things worse. A Team Member can direct the appropriate assistance to your location.
  3. Use the park map for a routine visit. Look for the First Aid symbol, then confirm whether the Upper Lot or Lower Lot station is closer.
  4. Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency. Alert a Team Member too, so responders can be directed through the park.

First Aid is the starting point for an in-park health need. Staff on site will decide what assistance is appropriate. This guide does not describe treatment or promise that a particular service will be available.

Who is available at First Aid

Nurses are on duty during regular park hours. Certified EMTs provide additional coverage throughout the park. The park's hours vary by date, so check the day's schedule before arrival if you are planning around a specific need.

The staffing statement applies to regular park hours. It does not establish separate First Aid hours for Early Park Admission, after-hours events or CityWalk.

Accessibility support at First Aid

Video remote interpreting is available at Guest Relations and the First Aid stations. Universal also offers assistive listening devices at Guest Relations and captioning at designated attractions.

For attraction access, mobility devices, oxygen restrictions, service animals or other needs, use Universal's current accessibility information and Guide for Safety and Accessibility. Those questions may need a different stop than First Aid.

A short plan before the visit

  • Save the current Guide for Safety and Accessibility on your phone.
  • Install or update the official Universal Studios Hollywood app for its interactive park map.
  • Know whether your group will begin in the Upper Lot or Lower Lot.
  • Keep emergency contacts and important medical information easy to reach.
  • Ask your clinician or pharmacist about medication timing, temperature and travel requirements before the trip.
  • Do not assume First Aid can refrigerate medication or provide an over-the-counter medicine unless park staff confirms it directly.
