MySA reported that a Six Flags spokesperson said an external construction crew contacted an underground power line on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The park safely escorted guests off rides and attractions, provided complimentary return tickets, and resumed normal operations the next morning.

Guest posts on Reddit showed visitors evacuating Titan and described crowding after rides stopped. Those posts matched the broad timeline later described by the park spokesperson.

Six Flags said guests were offered complimentary return tickets. The park reopened the next morning.
