Six Flags is bringing Holiday in the Park back to Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Over Georgia in winter 2026, expanding both parks' holiday-season calendars after the summer and Halloween rushes.
The company says the refreshed event will add three new immersive themed lands at each park, with more lands planned in later years. The lineup is expected to include nightly tree lighting moments, carolers, parade floats, festive shows, live musicians, food and drink, Santa meet-and-greets, cookie decorating, gingerbread-house activities, and select rides.
Two parks get the holiday push
Six Flags Over Georgia has Holiday in the Park scheduled for select days from November 21, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Six Flags Great Adventure has the event returning for winter 2026, with exact operating dates still to come.
Six Flags describes the returning event as a full seasonal program with themed areas, live entertainment, food, and rides. Over Georgia shows the event from November 22 through January 4.

Passes, memberships, and the sale deadline
Six Flags is also tying the holiday announcement to its current Memorial Day Sale, which runs through May 25, 2026. The company says guests who buy a Gold or Prestige Membership during the sale receive a 2026 All Season Drink Plan for Coca-Cola fountain drink refills during visits, including Holiday in the Park.
Membership pages for both parks currently show Holiday in the Park access in the benefit table for active memberships. Great Adventure lists Gold Membership pricing from $8 per month after a $20 initial payment plus applicable taxes and fees, while Over Georgia lists Gold Membership pricing from $7 per month with similar upfront payment language.
Membership terms vary by park and product, with separate rules for included parks, fees, parking, drink-plan delivery, and event access on each park's purchase pages.
The announcement gives Great Adventure and Over Georgia another winter event on their calendars, with a late-May sale window tied to the reveal.
