Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar is reopening at the Disneyland Hotel. Disney announced Tuesday, May 19, 2026, that the bar returns May 25 with limited-time 15th anniversary food and drink offerings.

Collectors have a clear release window, too. The Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar 15th Anniversary Hyena Mug is available through early mobile order on May 29 and at the location on May 30, served with the Barrel of Mischief cocktail.

What changes on May 25

Disney says the reopened menu includes limited-time anniversary offerings alongside familiar Trader Sam's favorites. The drink list includes Jet Pilot, Ginger Pear-adise, Old Kungaloosh, Rosita's Margarita, Ka Blue Ie, and Lost Safari, plus food items such as BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Mac Salad, Chicken Katsu Curry, Furikake Fries, Tropical Pancakes, Ube-stuffed French Toast, and more.

Disney says the HippopotoMai-Tai sipper is sold separately from the beverage and will be available while supplies last.

Guests can join the walk-up list in the Disneyland app on the day of their visit or check with the host stand in person. A theme park ticket or park reservation is not required, and guests do not have to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel to go.

Before you go

Trader Sam's is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the indoor space becomes 21-and-over after 8 p.m. Disney also notes a 90-minute limit per party, plus a limit of two alcoholic drinks per person per transaction. Disney requires a valid government ID for alcohol purchases.

That combination makes the best plan pretty straightforward: treat Trader Sam's like a flexible hotel-side target, not a guaranteed dinner reservation. If the walk-up list gets long, guests can shop, wander the Disneyland Hotel, or head into Downtown Disney while they wait. If the Hyena Mug is the whole mission, the May 29 mobile-order release and May 30 in-person release deserve much more attention than a casual drop-by.

The reopening and anniversary items arrive during Memorial Day week at Disneyland Resort.
