Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is now in preview mode at Disney's Hollywood Studios, ahead of its public opening on Tuesday, May 26.
WDW News Today, which received early access, published the first full walk-through of the Muppets version early Wednesday morning. The site reported that the coaster keeps the same basic ride system and high-speed launch, but swaps Aerosmith for The Electric Mayhem and a new Muppets story inside G-Force Records.
The May 26 public opening remains on Disney's calendar. The new story sends guests on a fast trip through Hollywood with Scooter trying to get the band to a concert on time.

The new version gives the attraction's giant guitar and courtyard a brighter Electric Mayhem look. WDWNT's preview also describes updated exterior signs, a rethemed food kiosk named FØØD by Swedish Chef, fresh queue posters, and a new pre-show built around Scooter's frantic studio management.
Disney has already shown several looks at the coaster, including Scooter near the ride entrance, the updated ride vehicles, and a pre-show scene. The cast includes Kermit, Miss Piggy, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Fozzie, Gonzo, and other Muppets.

Annual Passholder previews are scheduled before the public debut, and earlier reservation availability already pointed to strong interest around those preview dates. The May 26 opening also lands on the same day as Soarin' Across America at EPCOT and The Little Mermaid, A Musical Adventure, giving Walt Disney World a crowded late-May slate.
The attraction replaces the Aerosmith version of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, which closed earlier this year. The coaster itself is still a high-speed indoor ride with inversions, now with Muppets gags layered around the familiar launch setup.
