Klook is showing July 1, 2026, as the first dated admission day for Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas. Universal Destinations & Experiences has not announced an opening date for the new family park.
Diservations reported that Klook was showing Universal Kids Resort tickets available from July 1 through September 29, with 1-day tickets starting at $64.95 and 2-day tickets starting at $85.65. The same report said opening-week prices were closer to $90 for single-day admission and around $120 for 2-day tickets.
The Klook activity is labeled "Universal Kids Resort Ticket" at 1 Universal Pkwy in Frisco. It includes 1-day and 2-day general admission packages, charges children ages 2 and up the same rate as adults, and sends barcoded Universal Kids Resort tickets by email from the operator before the scheduled visit.
The listing gives travelers a useful clue. The opening date is still unsettled until Universal posts it directly. Universal continues to use a 2026 opening window without naming July 1 as a public opening date.
What Universal has announced
Universal Kids Resort is a smaller regional park built for families with young children. Universal's official materials place it in Frisco and describe seven lands: DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp, DreamWorks' Puss in Boots Del Mar, Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, DreamWorks' TrollsFest, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, and Isle of Curiosity.
The park will also have a Universal Kids Resort Hotel steps from the entrance. Rooms will sleep up to five or six guests, with standard, deluxe, and signature queen rooms using a queen bed plus a twin-over-full bunk bed. Family suites add a separate king bedroom, a queen pullout sofa, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and an eating area.
Universal has already shared attraction, food, merchandise, and play-area details for the park. Jurassic World Adventure Camp includes Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster, Mr. DNA's Double Helix Spin, Pteranodrop, a canteen, and dinosaur play spaces. SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom includes Jellyfish Fields Jamboree, Barnacle Bus, Bobbing Barrels, Mrs. Puff's Boating School, and Goofy Goober's.

A July 1 start would put Universal Kids Resort into its first operating stretch right before the July 4 holiday weekend. Universal has not confirmed that date publicly.
