Disney Store Limited Time opens Saturday, May 23, at Ross Park Mall near Pittsburgh, giving Disney its first public test of a temporary mall shop built around Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars merchandise.
Disney announced the format in April with Go! Retail Group as its operating partner. The first shop is on the upper level of Ross Park Mall, near J. Crew and Capital One Cafe, with a second location planned for Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey this fall.
The Pittsburgh shop opens at 10 a.m. ET. Its regular hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The draw for fans is the physical Disney Store muscle memory: opening ceremonies, themed interiors, character-driven merchandise walls, and a curated mix of toys, apparel, home goods, accessories, and collectibles. The Pittsburgh assortment includes Disney Parks merchandise and a Pittsburgh-inspired Disney T-shirt made for the local opening.
That makes the Ross Park Mall debut more useful than a simple merchandise drop. It gives Disney a live read on whether mall shoppers still want a seasonal Disney Store format after years with far fewer traditional mall locations. If the Pittsburgh and Paramus runs work, this is the kind of retail model that can travel into holiday shopping windows, film-release moments, and regional markets without waiting for a full permanent store rollout.
For now, Pittsburgh gets the first run. The shop sits at 1000 Ross Park Mall Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
