Disney's Hollywood Studios will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, one hour earlier than the surrounding weekdays.

Early Entry for Disney Resort hotel guests runs from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The park is still scheduled to close at 10 p.m., giving regular guests a 14-hour operating day before the post-close sweep begins.

May 26 is unusually busy by Studios standards. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens to all guests that day after preview rides, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live begins its Hollywood Studios run, and Walt Disney World starts the resort-wide Cool KIDS' SUMMER slate.

The former Animation Courtyard area has also been coming back online as The Walt Disney Studios Lot. Disney Jr. is the kid-focused piece opening May 26, while The Magic of Disney Animation is still waiting for its later-summer debut.

The schedule change stands out because Monday, May 25, and Wednesday, May 27, are both set for 9 a.m. public openings with 8:30 a.m. Early Entry. May 26 gets the earlier gate and keeps the same 10 p.m. close.

Hollywood Studios also has two Fantasmic! performances that night, at 9 and 10:30 p.m., plus Wonderful World of Animation at 9 p.m. That gives the park a long day at both ends: first wave on Sunset Boulevard in the morning, then a late entertainment stack after dark.
