ElevenLabs added Stan Lee's voice and likeness to its AI platform on May 27 through a new partnership with Stan Lee Universe.
Stan Lee's AI voice is now available through the ElevenLabs Iconic Marketplace and the Eleven Reader app. The launch also starts a Stan Lee Book of the Month Club in Eleven Reader, beginning with Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson in June.
ElevenLabs is also adding Stan Lee to Creative Templates for visual content. Use of his likeness is limited to personal, non-commercial creation under approved safety rules, while licensed commercial use runs through Stan Lee Universe via ElevenLabs.
Two Stan Lee-inspired music finetunes are available through ElevenCreative Music: Superhero Swells and Retro Hero Fanfare.
Stan Lee Licensing Rights
A 2022 Stan Lee Universe and Marvel Studios agreement covers Stan Lee's name, voice, likeness, and signature for Marvel film and television projects, Disney theme parks, water parks, cruise lines, and in-park merchandise.
Kartoon Studios said in 2025 that Stan Lee Universe still held Marvel and Walt Disney Company theme park licenses while building consumer product deals with other partners.
The ElevenLabs deal is separate from the Disney and Marvel rights. ElevenLabs is adding Stan Lee to its AI voice, reader, image-template, and music tools, while commercial licensing for Stan Lee's name and likeness continues through Stan Lee Universe.
