Universal Studios Japan is adding summer water upgrades to Jurassic Park - The Ride and WaterWorld during the park's 25th anniversary summer season.
WaterWorld starts its Discover U!!! version June 29 and runs through Aug. 31. Jurassic Park - The Ride starts its Discover U!!! version July 8 and runs through Sept. 30.
The Jurassic Park version adds a water-curtain effect around the rocky drop area. The WaterWorld version doubles the splash volume and adds more jet-ski action.

Jaws Is Not Included Yet
Universal Studios Japan said Jaws is not part of this water-upgrade group. A separate Jaws update is planned around September, with details still to come.
The summer water changes sit alongside the park's larger heat plan, including later parade timing, Cool Splash Time in Gramercy Park, and the Universal Summer Matsuri Night: Neon Glow Up event.
