Disney Parks released a new Disney Unscripted episode on June 11 showing how Imagineers, cast members, filmmakers, and musicians created Soarin' Across America.
The new flight film opened May 26 at EPCOT and is scheduled to start July 2 at Disney California Adventure as part of Disney's America 250 programming.
How Disney Created Soarin' Across America
The video follows the filming of American landscapes, the new musical arrangement built from the Soarin' score, and the testing work used to tune the flying-theater motion.
Walt Disney Imagineering and cast members from Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort appear in the episode. Disney also shows how each scene is adjusted so the screen, seats, scent, wind, and music land together.
Soarin' Across America is flying at EPCOT and coming to Disney California Adventure July 2.

Soarin' Across America replaced Soarin' Around the World at EPCOT for the 2026 summer season. Disney California Adventure gets the film July 2, bringing the America 250 version to Soarin' in Grizzly Peak.
The film includes scenes tied to New England, New York Harbor, Grand Canyon West, Hawaii, and Mount Rushmore, plus a Soarin' Challenge Across America queue activity made with National Geographic.
