Pixar's Gatto has introduced another member of its Venice menagerie. Saverio, a pigeon, appears beside Nero in the film's D23 booth display.
The setting pairs the two characters with arched openings, exposed brick and a terracotta roof. Saverio is identified as Nero's sidekick, giving the black cat a feathered companion for his last job.

WDW News Today published the first floor report and photographs during the August 13 media preview. Pixar's official current pages introduce Nero and Maya but do not yet name Saverio.

Mark Ruffalo voices Nero, a cat who wants to leave mischief behind. Before he can, he must steal a violin. The job connects him with Maya, the instrument's owner, and their shared love of opera.
Gatto opens in theaters March 5, 2027
Pixar released the film's first teaser in June and moved its theatrical date to March 5, 2027. Director Enrico Casarosa returns to Italy after Luca, this time using visible brushstrokes and watercolor-like reflections to give Venice a painted texture.
