Universal Creative shared new Universal Kids Resort ride-testing footage from Frisco, Texas, as the first Universal park designed for families with young children heads toward its July 1 opening.
In the June 11 reel, SpongeBob rides above turquoise Jelly Angler vehicles as Jellyfish Fields Jamboree moves around the undersea platform in Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom.
SpongeBob Ride Testing
Jellyfish Fields Jamboree is one of four rides planned for SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom. The land's attraction lineup also includes Barnacle Bus, Bobbing Barrels, and Mrs. Puff's Boating School.
Families will also find Goofy Goober's, Barg'N-Mart, Pineapple Paradise, Mussel Beach, and character meet-and-greets with SpongeBob, Patrick Star, and Sandy Cheeks.
July 1 Opening
Universal Kids Resort opens July 1 at 1 Universal Parkway in Frisco, north of Dallas. The park has seven themed lands, including Shrek's Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, TrollsFest, Puss in Boots Del Mar, and Isle of Curiosity.
Universal opened preview ticket sales June 10 for visits from June 24 through June 29. The preview window gives families an early visit window before the official opening day.
