Theme Park Insider reported from Shanghai Disney Resort's 10th anniversary event that the resort's third hotel will be named Disney Enchanted Star Hotel.
The hotel is expected to open this winter. The report also said Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro and Shanghai Shendi Group Chairman Guan Taoping honored former Disney CEO Bob Iger with a miniature statue tied to Enchanted Storybook Castle.

The new hotel adds another overnight option near Shanghai Disneyland, joining Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. A fourth hotel is also planned near Disneytown, but new details on that project were not announced at the event.
The report said Disney executives hinted at more expansion for Shanghai Disney Resort, but no second gate was announced during the anniversary event.
Shanghai Disney Resort Anniversary
Shanghai Disney Resort turns 10 on June 16, 2026. The milestone year already includes The Heart of Magic castle show, Duffy and Friends pre-parade additions, Zootopia entertainment, anniversary food, merchandise, collectible tickets, and hotel packages.
