Shanghai Disney Resort marked its 10th birthday on June 16 with a giant cake in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle, performers, Disney characters, and cast representatives.
The cake was built around Shanghai Disneyland's eight themed lands. Disney's official photos show Mickey and Friends, Duffy and Friends, Marvel characters, Disney Princesses, Pixar characters, Zootopia characters, and other performers spread across the castle stage.
Shanghai Disney Resort 10th Birthday
Shanghai Disney Resort opened June 16, 2016. The resort's anniversary year is running under the "With You, It's Magic+" banner, with The Heart of Magic castle show, Duffy and Friends pre-parade additions, Zootopia entertainment, food, merchandise, hotel packages, and collectible ticket sets.
The June 16 birthday moment also brought cast representatives to the stage for the resort's 10-year milestone.
Shanghai Disneyland Anniversary Week
The birthday photos landed one day after Shanghai Disney Resort named Disney Enchanted Star Hotel during its anniversary event. The resort has also been highlighting 10th anniversary merchandise and a Spider-Man coaster construction milestone this week.
