WDWMagic reported that Disney Guest Relations has outlined the June 28 transportation verification rules for guests boarding Walt Disney World resort transportation from Disney Springs.
Guests boarding a resort bus or Sassagoula River Cruise boat from Disney Springs will need a valid Disney Resort hotel room key, MagicBand, or a resort dining or Enchanting Extras reservation.
Disney Springs Transportation Verification
The two-hour window is the new practical detail. Guests with dining or Enchanting Extras reservations can board the appropriate Disney transportation from Disney Springs up to two hours before the reservation time.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can board any Disney Resort hotel bus or Sassagoula River Cruise boat from Disney Springs, according to the Guest Relations response reported by WDWMagic.
The policy applies to Disney transportation leaving Disney Springs for Disney Resort hotels. Theme park transportation to Disney Resort hotels is not part of this Disney Springs check.
What Changed Since the Earlier Report
The earlier CrowdLevels story covered the expected permanent return of Disney Springs resort-bus verification. The follow-up details add the June 28 start date, include Sassagoula River Cruise boats, and explain the two-hour reservation window for dining and Enchanting Extras guests.
Disney Springs remains a shopping, dining, and entertainment district with free parking. The verification process narrows who can use Disney transportation from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels.
