Disneyland Resort will bring back its annual holiday ride overlays for the 2026 season, including Haunted Mansion Holiday, it’s a small world Holiday, and seasonal Cars Land attraction changes.
The lineup covers two Disneyland Park attractions and three Disney California Adventure ride overlays. Disneyland Resort has not announced the full 2026 holiday-season calendar yet, but Disney used the June 24 ride roundup to confirm the returning overlay slate.
Disneyland Holiday Ride Overlays for 2026
Haunted Mansion Holiday and it’s a small world Holiday
Haunted Mansion Holiday returns with Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie, and the attraction’s annual gingerbread house in the ballroom. The overlay has been a Disneyland holiday staple since 2001.
it’s a small world Holiday also returns with seasonal lighting, holiday costumes, and a soundtrack that blends the attraction’s theme with Christmas music. The overlay debuted at Disneyland in 1997.
Cars Land Holiday Overlays
Cars Land brings holiday decor back to Radiator Springs at Disney California Adventure. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters becomes Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl.
Radiator Springs Racers keeps its main ride experience but adds Christmas touches across the town. The land usually carries some of Disneyland Resort’s best holiday visual gags, from car-part wreaths to traffic-cone trees.
