A guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village reported air-conditioning problems Tuesday night, June 23, after their room thermostat climbed to 78 degrees and normally cool hallways and lobby areas felt warm.
The guest, posting on r/WaltDisneyWorld under u/ziriuso, said they spoke with the front desk at about 9 p.m. Eastern and were told the system had been down that afternoon and evening. The guest later said small box fans were available by request around 10 p.m.
Public reports in the same thread were mixed. One commenter said the main lobby felt warm too. Another current Kidani guest said their room air conditioning was still holding its set temperature.
Kidani Village AC Report Follows Wilderness Lodge Problems
The Kidani report surfaced during a hot week in Central Florida and days after guests at Disney's Wilderness Lodge reported air-conditioning problems there. The Kidani thread does not establish a resort-wide outage, and Disney has not issued a public statement on Kidani Village air conditioning.
Kidani Village is a Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Villa Resort at 3701 Osceola Parkway in the Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort Area. Its guest-room refurbishment was scheduled from October 2025 through May 2026, with most amenities remaining available during that work.
What Guests Should Do
Guests staying at Kidani Village should check with the front desk before assuming the issue affects their room. If a room is not cooling, ask directly about a fan, maintenance visit, or room move.
