Tokyo Disneyland will add its first drone display to Reach for the Stars on July 2 as part of a limited grand-finale version of the Cinderella Castle nighttime show.

The limited version is called Reach for the Stars: Everlasting Dreams and runs through Sept. 14. After the regular show, Tokyo Disney Resort will add about five minutes of special music, character projections on Cinderella Castle, and drones above the park.

Weather can change the drone segment, cut it from the performance, or cancel the show.

Drone Finale Runs July 2 Through Sept. 14

Reach for the Stars uses projection mapping, lighting, pyrotechnics, and castle effects around characters from Disney and Pixar films. The Everlasting Dreams version adds a final stretch for summer visitors before the Sept. 14 finale.

Drones will light up the sky after the main performance, creating the new finale above Cinderella Castle.
