CrowdLevels' live Disneyland data lists Haunted Mansion under refurbishment. The attraction had no posted wait when the status was checked at 5:20 p.m. PDT on August 12.
Haunted Mansion Holiday is scheduled to return August 21, the same day Disneyland Resort's 2026 Halloween Time season begins.
Haunted Mansion Closure
The closure lines up with the annual switch to Haunted Mansion Holiday, the seasonal version built around Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie, and the attraction's holiday gingerbread house.
Disney has not posted a detailed installation scope. Guests visiting before August 21 should plan for the attraction to remain unavailable.
Other Disneyland Holiday Overlays Returning in 2026
Disneyland Resort previously confirmed that Haunted Mansion Holiday, it's a small world Holiday, Mater's Jingle Jamboree, Luigi's Joy to the Whirl, and Cars Land holiday decorations are all returning for the 2026 season.
Haunted Mansion Holiday usually bridges Halloween Time and the Christmas season at Disneyland Park, so the August 21 return gives the overlay a long run before the year-end holiday calendar begins.
