Universal Studios Japan will accept Osaka City Premium Gift Certificates for in-park food and merchandise purchases starting June 29, the first day the citywide certificate program can be used.

Osaka's 2026 premium certificate program runs through Jan. 15, 2027. Each 10,000-yen purchase carries 13,000 yen in spending value, and the program is limited to Osaka residents.

USJ Food and Merchandise Purchases

The program includes Universal Studios Japan food stores and merchandise stores at the park's Sakurajima address. Some locations are excluded, so guests should check the participating-store search before relying on the certificates at a specific restaurant or shop.

The program also covers some Universal CityWalk Osaka and nearby hotel businesses. Those entries vary by location and payment type.

Certificate Dates and Rules

Osaka City Premium Gift Certificates can be used from June 29, 2026 through Jan. 15, 2027. Unused balances are not refunded after the use period ends.

At USJ, Osaka residents who already have the certificates can now use them inside the park for food and goods, with store exclusions still in play.
