Morimoto Asia will host Sushi Showdown on September 21 at Disney Springs, with two tasting sessions and tickets starting at $125 per person.
The event brings Orlando sushi chefs to Morimoto Asia for a one-night competition. Each chef will make a sushi with rice and a cooked small plate using the same featured fish.
Guests can vote with a gold coin, listen to DJ entertainment, and attend a live auction. All auction proceeds will benefit Give Kids the World.
The two sessions run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. General admission costs $125 per person plus tax and gratuity. A limited VIP booth for up to four guests costs $700 plus tax and gratuity.
A $25 beverage add-on includes a custom sake box, six tastings, and tasting notes. The featured sake brands include Dassai, Hakkaisan, Kubota, Nanbu Bijin, and Soto.
Morimoto Asia is in The Landing at Disney Springs. Reservations are handled through Tock for both general admission and VIP booth tickets.
