The visit is part of Universal Destinations & Experiences' partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Universal teams have used similar previews around new destinations and attractions, giving local club members early access before public openings.

Dan Cuffe, vice president and general manager of Universal Kids Resort, said the team was thrilled to welcome the Collin County clubs before opening day.

Universal's First Kids-Focused Theme Park

Universal Kids Resort opens July 1 at 1 Universal Parkway in Frisco, north of Dallas. The park has seven themed lands, a 300-room Universal Kids Resort Hotel, and attractions built around DreamWorks Animation, Illumination, Nickelodeon, and Jurassic World characters.

The preview followed a separate paid preview-ticket window from June 24-29, giving Universal one last local access push before the first public holiday weekend.
