BlogMickey reported Wednesday that Disney has confirmed Spanish translations are now available across most of the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps.
The change gives Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests Spanish-language app pages for day-of planning tools, reservations, maps, Lightning Lane, PhotoPass, and other common app features. Mobile Order menus and Mobile Merchandise Checkout are still showing in English.
WDW News Today published current app screenshots from both resort apps and reported that the update follows a phone's language setting. The rollout may not appear for every guest immediately.
Spanish App Support Follows May Preview
Disney previewed the Spanish-language support during a May media briefing about upcoming app and website updates. Scott Gustin reported from that briefing that Spanish would be the first additional language supported by My Disney Experience.
The app work sits alongside other 2026 planning changes, including a redesigned app home screen, Trip Checklist, Trip Party sharing, and AI-powered search. Walt Disney World was scheduled to receive the new app work first, with Disneyland Resort following later in the year.
Disney Resort Websites Already Support Spanish
The Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort websites already have Spanish-language app pages for their official mobile apps. Those pages cover major app functions such as park maps, dining reservations, PhotoPass, hotel check-in, Lightning Lane, and direct-to-room services.
The app rollout closes one of the odder gaps in Disney's mobile planning setup. Spanish-speaking guests could already use Spanish resort websites, then had to move back into English for much of the app experience inside the parks.
