Universal CityWalk Hollywood has ended its FIFA World Cup 2026 soccer viewing parties for the rest of the tournament, cutting off the CityWalk watch-party setup before the July 19 final.
The change affects the CityWalk district outside Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal has not announced a reason for ending the viewing parties.
What Was Scheduled at CityWalk
The Hollywood watch-party promotion was tied to the FIFA World Cup's June 11-July 19 run, with select match viewings planned on the 5 Towers Stage screen and inside NBC Sports Grill & Brew.
The public schedule was selective, not a daily tournament feed. The latest Hollywood lineup on Discover Universal listed U.S.A., Mexico, Argentina, and other match viewings through June 30.
What Still Runs Through July 19
Limited-time World Cup food and beverage remains available at select CityWalk venues through July 19. That keeps the restaurant side of the promotion alive after the viewing parties ended.
The food and drink lineup includes NBC Sports Grill & Brew, Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, and Voodoo Doughnut.
This is a follow-up to CrowdLevels' June 11 coverage of Universal CityWalk Hollywood's original World Cup watch-party announcement.
