
St. Maarten officials expect Disney Cruise Line calls to grow in 2027 after Disney Destiny made its first visit to the island July 1. Officials put the expected 2027 schedule at 14 calls, rounded.
Grisha Heyliger-Marten, St. Maarten's Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication, said the island and Port St. Maarten plan to keep working with Disney Cruise Line as Disney adds ships to its fleet.
Disney Destiny's First St. Maarten Call
Disney Destiny's July 1 visit was the ship's inaugural call to St. Maarten. Heyliger-Marten said further Disney Cruise Line growth is anticipated in 2028.
St. Maarten tourism officials tied the additional calls to taxi operators, tour companies, restaurants, retailers, attractions, and other local tourism businesses that serve cruise passengers.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten is a Disney Cruise Line Caribbean port of call, with port adventures built around island beaches, sightseeing, shopping, and outdoor activities.
The Ministry of TEATT plans to continue working with Port St. Maarten, Disney Cruise Line, and other stakeholders on the island's cruise plans.
